The content of the implant can be be SOLID SILICON or COHESIVE SILICON GEL.Solid Silicon Implants are preferred and are known as Natural Contour Buttock Implants. They are mostly available in sizes 230,285 and 330 cc with implant projections from 3.2 to 3.8 cms The implants are placed in pockets between the buttock muscles through a small midline incision . The incision is closed with sutures, drains are inserted, and a compression garment is worn following surgery.

AFTER CARE:-Sitting on the buttocks is not permitted for the first ten days, except toilet breaks. Cushioned air pillows are used to support the buttocks in bed. The person can return to work in two to three weeks, but must use a pillow when sitting so that there is no pressure on the buttocks
